Im Zuge der Maßnahme sind umfangreiche Tief-, Rohbau- und Ausbauarbeiten sowie die Herstellung der verfahrenstechnischen, maschinen- und elektrotechnischen Ausrüstung auszuführen. Hierzu zählen insbesondere die Rohrleitungs- und Armaturenanlagen, Krananlagen, Lüftungs- und Elektroinstallationen sowie die Einbindung in die bestehende Prozessleit- und Fernwirktechnik. Darüber hinaus erfolgt die hydraulische Einbindung des neuen Hochbehälters in das bestehende Versorgungssystem durch Umbauarbeiten im benachbarten Kraftwerk. Hierzu sind bestehende Rohrleitungsachsen zurückzubauen und neu zu errichten, Armaturen zu ergänzen sowie Anpassungen an Betriebs-, Steuerungs- und Sicherheitseinrichtungen vorzunehmen.
