NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) Title: Medium-Size Rugged Outdoor Ground Robots Solicitation Number: 26-58110 Publication Date: October 23rd, 2026 Closing Date and Time: November 17th , 2026 14:00 EST Trade Agreements: • Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) • Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement Region of Opportunity: Canada Region of Delivery: Canada (Ontario) GSIN: N3685 Robotics Notice Type: Request for Proposal (RFP) Tendering Procedure: Open Description: The NRC’s Center for Drone Innovation (CDI), part of the Drone and Flight Autonomy Laboratory (DFAL) is seeking to acquire two (2) medium-size, rugged, outdoor-capable Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) to serve as versatile research and development platforms. The deliverables are required to be delivered by March 26th, 2027 Solicitation of Offer Submission Eligibility: This solicitation of offers is subject to the Policy on Reciprocal Procurement. This means that only Canadian Suppliers, are eligible for this solicitation of offers. Offers submitted by Suppliers of a Non-Trading Partner will be rejected. Basis of selection: Highest combined rating of technical merit and price.
