MP-070054 N01/54,55 UPlaNS St. Gallen West – St. Gallen East / Main laboratory works client stage II

This tender concerns the comprehensive renovation of the N01 urban motorway section between St. Gallen West and St. Gallen East, including the four junctions of St. Gallen Winkeln, Kreuzbleiche, St. Fiden, and Neudorf. After approximately 30 years of operation since its opening in 1987, the motorway requires extensive refurbishment to address increasing renovation needs. The scope of work includes measures for the rehabilitation of various civil engineering structures, significant renovation of the three tunnels (Schoren, Rosenberg, and St. Fiden) along with their control centers and safety improvement measures. Additionally, the project involves the renovation of the road surface and, where necessary, the bonding layer within the tunnels, on structures, and in junction areas. The renovation of operational and safety equipment is also a key component, as are measures to stabilize the unstable Dietli slope. Stage II works are scheduled to commence in 2024, with the main national road works planned from 2025 to 2026. Finalization works (ISE) are expected in 2027. Through this tender, the contracting authority is seeking a client's representative laboratory to oversee the planned renovation works, ensuring quality and adherence to project specifications throughout the execution phases.
