Description

The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP), through Land Services Victoria (LSV), invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for the provision of Network Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning software and associated implementation, maintenance, support and training services for Victoria’s GPSnet Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) network. GPSnet is Victoria’s state-wide Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reference station network, providing real-time positioning services that support surveying, construction, agriculture, transport, navigation and other government and industry applications. DTP is undertaking market engagement to understand commercially available Network RTK software solutions and supplier capabilities in meeting the current and future operational requirements of GPSnet. The scope includes GNSS correction generation and distribution, multi-constellation and multi-frequency GNSS processing, NTRIP caster functionality, GNSS data management and RINEX data services, system administration and monitoring, integration, implementation, migration, training, software maintenance and ongoing technical support. The purpose of this EOI is to assess market capability, identify available technology solutions and inform the development of future procurement requirements and technical specifications. Following evaluation of EOI responses, suitably qualified suppliers may be shortlisted for progression to Stage 2, a select Request for Tender (RFT) process through the Digital Marketplace, subject to the evaluation outcomes and confirmation of the procurement approach.
