Het huidige schoolgebouw van IKC Valeo in de wijk Boerhaave is technisch en functioneel verouderd. Daarnaast verwacht de school een uitbreiding van het aantal leerlingen. Daarom is de gemeente Haarlem voornemens vervangende huisvesting te realiseren, waarbij een uitbreiding voor de kinderopvang wordt meegenomen. De nieuwe huisvesting wordt een aansprekend gebouw, gasloos en opgebouwd met robuuste materialen. De ambitie is om samen met Partou kinderopvang een Integraal Kind Centrum Valeo te realiseren. Stichting TWijs is de Opdrachtgever en Aanbesteder van deze Opdracht. De nieuwbouw wordt gerealiseerd op de huidige locatie van de school aan de Alexander Flemingstraat 24 & 39 te Haarlem. De huidige schoolgebouwen zullen worden gesloopt (door de aannemer die volgt uit deze aanbesteding).
