Sustav Geoportala NIPP-a jest središnja točka nacionalne infrastrukture prostornih podataka koja omogućava katalogiziranje i pretragu metapodataka svih registriranih prostornih podataka na nacionalnom nivou. Sustav podržava sve tipove INSPIRE usluga: pretraživanje, pregled, preuzimanje i transformaciju. Sustav je dizajniran i uspostavljen u produkcijskoj okolini. Produkcijski pristup sustavu omogućava pristup službenim podacima, dok se testni odnosno pred produkcijski pristup sustavu koristi za provjere funkcionalnosti te testiranja kod razvoja novih funkcionalnosti i/ili promjena prije primjene u produkciji.
