De ANVS (Autoriteit Nucleaire Veiligheid en Stralingsbescherming) is voornemens om DCMR (Dienst Centraal Milieubeheer Rijnmond) een opdracht te verstrekken voor advisering op conventioneel milieuvlak, in het kader van toezicht, handhaving en vergunningverlening bij nucleaire installaties in de provincies Zuid-Holland en Zeeland. Er is hierbij een raakvlak tussen de taken van de ANVS en van DCMR, aangezien de milieuaspecten in de door de ANVS te verlenen vergunningen gebaseerd zijn op dezelfde wet- en regelgeving als waarop DCMR vergunningen verleend bij niet-nucleaire installaties.
