PdF/UPOL – Supply of network hardware as part of the expansion of the PdF computer network services II

The subject of the Public Procurement is the supply of network hardware as part of the expansion of the computer network services of the Faculty of Education, Palacký University Olomouc. The supply includes: a) the supply of optical and metallic active elements for the needs of infrastructural support of teaching at the Faculty of Education, Palacký University Olomouc within doctoral study programs. This involves expanding the existing network infrastructure with new elements and systems that connect to the existing IT infrastructure and cover the increase in the number of doctoral students and the change in the concept of their preparation, expanded to include the issue of using information technologies in education; b) all optical and metallic connection cables necessary for commissioning the supplied optical and metallic active elements (this does not apply to metallic and optical distributions within the building), other installation materials, installation and configuration of active elements, connection of the new system to the existing one, and integration of existing technology with newly supplied elements, including ensuring basic configuration for connection to the network of Palacký University Olomouc, i.e., complete, functional, and flawless execution of all related installation works, including the supply of necessary materials and equipment essential for the proper completion of the subject of performance and ensuring its operational readiness. The offered technical solution must be fully compatible with the computer network at the Faculty of Education, Palacký University Olomouc, which is described in Annex No. 4 of the tender documentation; c) cleaning and removal of all packaging and other materials used during the installation itself in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 185/2001 Coll., on waste, as amended, from the place of performance. The minimum requirements for the subject of the Public Procurement are defined by the technical, commercial, or other contractual conditions, which are attached to the tender documentation.
