La Consejería de Educación actualmente tiene en funcionamiento un conjunto de aplicaciones y componentes software de concepción horizontal que se encuentran desarrollados en tecnología Microsoft .Net y que dan soporte a un conjunto muy amplio de sistemas y aplicaciones estratégicos, componiendo unas infraestructuras básicas indispensables para la operación en los múltiples ámbitos de la gestión de enseñanzas no universitarias. Son utilizadas entre otras por la aplicación centralizada de gestión académica de los centros educativos (STILUS) y de información a las familias (STILUS-Familias), por las principales plataformas educativas que dan soporte en Internet a la comunidad educativa (Portal de Educación, Aulas Virtuales, Microsoft Office 365, entre otras) y por los diferentes procesos de gestión de la Consejería.
