1. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the EKITI State Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning & Empowerment Project, (EKITIAGILE), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the procurement and installation of security and safety equipment / materials for secondary schools in Ekiti state.
2. The EKITI State Ministry of Education through the office of the Project Coordinator EKITI AGILE now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of the following:

- Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) available on www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the office of the EKITI State Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning & Empowerment Project, (EKITI AGILE) and collect the bidding document during office hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (local time) at the address given below.
5. Qualifications required include:
- Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Evidence of previous supply and installation of similar equipment in the range of bid price in the past five (5) years.
- Audited financial statements for the last three (3) years to demonstrate financial capability/soundness of the Bidder.
- Evidence of after-sales services.
- Provision of a standby expert that will be attending to corrections/ settings when necessary in the schools (The name, Phone number etc).
vi. Evidence of ability to train the schools on how to use the Equipment.

6. Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) only in a Bank Draft in favour of Ekiti State Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning & Empowerment (AGILE) Project. The bidding documents could be collected at the address below on presentation of proof of payment. At the request of the bidder, the documents could also be sent by email.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address in paragraph 9 below on or before Thursday, September 10th, 2026.12:00 pm (local time) Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 12.00 noon on the Thursday 10 September, 2026. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of at least 2.5% of Bid price.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
