  1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Nigeria for Women Program Scale- Up (NFWP-SU) Project, part of which proceeds have been on – lent to the Ondo State Government. The Ondo State Government has allocated a part of the credit for Implementing the Procurement of 650 Nos. of Tablets, Power Bank, Pouch & Screen guard for Ward Facilitators.
  2. To this end, The Nigeria for Women Project Scale-up (NFWP-SU) office, through the Ondo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Igbatoro Road, Akure now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of the items listed in the table below:

3. Bidders wishing to offer discounts will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid. A margin for domestic preference will not apply. Qualification’s requirements include:

  1. Documentary Evidence of two contracts of similar nature and magnitude during the last five (5) years
  2. Financial capability of the Bidder in terms of Profitability and adequate working capital to supply above items before payment.
  3. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

4. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, dated July 2016, revised November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders at the following website: www.worldbank.org.

5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from The Nigeria for Women Program Scale-up (NFWP-SU) Project Coordinating Unit, Development House, Igbatoro Road, Akure Ondo State, Dr. Mrs. Jumoke Bakare jummagg@yahoo.com ondostatenfwpsu@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours between 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below.

6. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Thirty Thousand Naira Only (NGN30,000.00). The method of payment will be into the NFWP-SU Project Accounts with the following details:

Verifiable payment evidence for the non-refundable fee is to be forwarded to the project. The document will be sent by courier or collected by hand. Prospective bidders will bear all costs if they choose delivery of the bidding documents by courier.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12.00 noon (local time), 12th Aug., 2026. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 1.00 pm (local time), on 12th Aug., 2026.

8. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of the amount in Nigerian Naira stated in the Table under paragraph 2 as above of this Specific Procurement Notice.

9. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
