Project insurance corridor Remagen-Mainz

DB InfraGO is planning the renewal of the Remagen-Mainz corridor. The investment volume for this project is estimated at EUR 1.7 billion. Of this, approx. EUR 26 million have already been settled under an existing contract. The insurance contract newly tendered here will replace the existing contract. A construction period until 31.12.2028 is currently planned. The insurance contract begins after the end of the tender procedure with the date of award, following a currently existing preliminary coverage. (Type M) In the liability insurance, the sum insured per claim is EUR 25,000,000 lump sum for personal injury, property damage, and financial loss, including benefits from environmental liability insurance. In the planning liability insurance, a separate sum insured per claim of EUR 10,000,000 lump sum for property damage and financial loss is available. The aforementioned sums are maximized three times. The Extended Maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part is 42 months. The extended reporting period is 10 years for liability insurance and 5 years for environmental liability and environmental damage insurance. The general deductible is at least EUR 25,000. There is no deductible for personal injury. In the planning liability insurance, extended planning coverage is included. Within the scope of extended planning coverage, the deductible is EUR 100,000.
