Geplant ist der Umbau und die Sanierung des ehemaligen Kasernengebäudes 4004 zu einem Familienzentrum mit Integration eines Jugendzentrums und Räumen für die Gemeinwesenarbeit sowie die Gestaltung neuer Freianlagen im Außenbereich. Das Gebäude wird kernsaniert und umfasst ein Keller- und drei Obergeschossen. Zentral im Gebäude wird eine Aufzugsanlage installiert. Damit wird eine barrierefreie Erschließung geschaffen. Im Rahmen der Kernsanierung wird die Elektroanlage der Kostengruppen 440 und 450 neu geschaffen. Die Anlagen der Starkstomversorgung mit Haupt- und Unterverteilungen werden komplett neu aufgebaut. Das Gebäude erhält eine Brandmeldeanlage und wird mit einem strukturiertem Datennetz ausgestattet. Im Rahmen der Elektroinstallationen wird auch die Versorgung der Gebäudeautomation vorgesehen.
