The trial run is considered successful if the QKD system has operated as specified in Chapters I-III of this technical description during the trial run, for which the parties will draw up a protocol. Successful trial run is a prerequisite for confirmation of performance. Support for operation and any further installations as specified in the Technical Description • Support for the installation of further links of the bid item For a period of 36 months starting from the successful trial run of the first QKD system as specified in the Technical Description: • The bidder shall provide support for their construction via telephone and other online connections, on Hungarian working days, between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM Budapest time, as requested by the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority shall notify the Bidder of such a request at least two working days before the requested support time, except when the request is made on a day of ongoing support – in which case the Bidder shall also provide support for the next working day (i.e., the requested support days can be extended by additional working days). • Operation of customer service, acceptance of fault reports, assistance in troubleshooting, and if necessary, repair or replacement of devices or components. • Software and firmware updates • Engineering consulting services for issues arising during system operation, for a total of up to 100 hours during the entire service period. • Maintenance of access to product documentation
