Het waterschap Vallei en Veluwe heeft 90 rioolgemalen in beheer. De installaties van deze rioolgemalen dienen te worden vervangen. Het doel is om dat met twee primaire aannemers binnen een raamovereenkomst te gaan verrichten. Hierbij dient te worden opgemerkt dat ca. 85% van deze rioolgemalen een capaciteit hebben tussen de 25 m3/h en 500 m3/h en binnen deze raamovereenkomst zullen vallen. Deze rioolgemalen hebben overeenkomstige installatie-onderdelen en alleen de grootte van de rioolpompen en bijbehorend leidingwerk is onderscheidend. De werktuigbouwkundige- en elektrotechnische installaties van deze rioolgemalen zijn over het algemeen 15 jaar oud of ouder. Civieltechnisch zijn deze rioolgemalen veelal nog veel ouder. Met twee primaire aannemers worden de werkzaamheden en de clusters voorbereid en uitgevoerd.
