Les bâtiments A, C, D et HC de la rue des Casernes 40 à Sion sont alimentés en chaleur par le réseau de chauffage à distance (CAD). Le bâtiment B est quant à lui alimenté depuis un groupe de distribution situé dans le bâtiment D. De même, le bâtiment F est alimenté depuis un groupe de distribution présent dans le bâtiment HC. L'ensemble du site est donc principalement approvisionné par le réseau CAD.
