Framework agreement for sewer cleaning and sewer TV inspection

The advertised service includes the regular mechanical cleaning and norm-compliant inspection of public sewage systems in the urban area of the Kolpingstadt Kerpen. The basis is the entire sewer network with a total length of approximately 290 km and about 8,255 manholes. Cleaning includes maintenance cleaning, special cleaning, and predictive cleaning in the form of high-pressure flushing with water recovery in accordance with the requirements of DWA-M 197 and within the framework of the Wastewater Self-Monitoring Ordinance North Rhine-Westphalia (SüwVO Abw. NRW). In addition to the sewer lines, the associated manholes, pumping stations, storage sewers, and rainwater inlets of various types - particularly underground pumping sumps and, to a lesser extent, above-ground pumping station buildings - are to be completely cleaned. Cleaning is carried out by district; the urban area is divided into seven cleaning districts. As a rule, approximately two districts are to be completely cleaned per year. Changes in scope due to new construction or development measures, as well as legally required investigations, are reserved; there is no legal entitlement to specific quantities. The inspection of sewer lines and manholes is carried out in accordance with the requirements of SüwVO Abw. NRW, DIN EN 13508-2 (2003), and DWA-A 149-1 to DWA-A 149-9. In addition, acceptance inspections as part of new and refurbishment measures, warranty checks, and special inspections must be carried out. The annual inspection volume is approximately 20 km of sewer lines (equivalent to about 7% of the sewer network). The lines designated for this purpose are to be prepared during district cleaning, with the subsequent TV inspection to be carried out no later than 48 hours after cleaning. Inspections are carried out by district or street section, with the sewage system being designed as a separate or combined system depending on the district. Furthermore, approximately 400 property connections are to be inspected annually from the main line to the property boundary. The inspections are to be carried out in accordance with DWA-A 149-5 using the condition coding according to DIN EN 13508-2 (2003). For the execution of the services, a sufficient number of TV inspection vehicles with crews must be available, enabling an average daily output of approximately 300-400 m.
