Description
The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (the CCCCC) has received financing from Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), toward the cost of the project “Strengthening Data Management Foundation for Disaster Risk Preparedness in Belize" and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards a contract for “Technical Studies to review policy, legislative, and institutional frameworks for Disaster Risk Preparedness in Belize” (“the Services”).
The objective of this consultancy is to undertake a comprehensive technical study through a diagnostic review and gap analysis of the current use, management, and governance of spatial data in Belize for disaster risk assessment and climate-resilient development planning. The objective is to identify critical gaps, constraints, and opportunities. It will then provide actionable recommendations to strengthen the national spatial data ecosystem in support of evidence-based decision-making. Project closes Aug 05, 2026 2:00 PM -06.
