Agency: UNCDF | Reference: UNCDF-00674 | Type: Request for proposal
United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), the UN’s flagship catalytic blended financing platform, supports market development by enabling access to finance in high-risk environments through financial instruments, mechanisms, and advisory services.
With a unique mandate, UNCDF blends and deploys grants, loans, and guarantees alongside related advisory support. The Shafal – Remittance Management for Socio-economic Stability of Migrant Families programme is funded by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh and implemented by UNCDF under the Leaving No One Behind in the Digital Era initiative.
The programme addresses the critical challenge of remittance dependency in Bangladesh, where millions of low-income migrant families rely on international transfers but often lack the financial literacy, services, and opportunities to use these funds productively. The primary objective of this assignment is to accelerate the deployment and practical use of Shafal’s remittance management messages, tools, and learning resources through selected partner institutions.
The assignment will focus on supporting priority partners to integrate existing Shafal content into their customer engagement channels, service delivery processes, and communication systems, while generating evidence of actual partner adoption and customer reach before programme closure.
The assignment is not intended to develop extensive new communication products.
Rather, it will prioritize activation, adaptation, deployment, and uptake of existing programme assets through partner systems. Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.
