UNSMIL intends to establish a contract for the sale of its Used assets, Scrap Metals, Used Lead Acid Batteries, Electronic Scraps and Used Oils on an “as-is” and “where-is” basis without any recourse, for the purpose of a safe recycling or disposal by the purchaser.

UNSMIL aims to establish an initial contract for a one-year period with the successful purchaser and at its sole discretion to extend the contract for an additional two one-year periods subject to satisfactory performance of the contract by the Purchaser.

1- The Sale will include but it is not limited to:

1.

SALE OF SCRAP METALS.
2.

SALE OF USED OIL.
3.

SALE OF LEAD ACID BATTERIES.
4.

SALE OF ELECTRONIC WASTE.
5 SALE OF USED ASSETS

Specific Requirements/Information
1.1 The Contractor shall manage the collection, removal, and disposal of all USED ASSETS generated by UNSMIL from its Property Disposal Yard in OEA Village, Janzour-Tripoli.
1.2 The collected USED ASSETS shall be safely removed by the Contractor from the above-mentioned areas.

Any recycling shall be at approved sites or facilities in accordance with international hygiene standards and safety measures and following the procedures required by local and internationally accepted rules and regulations.
1.3 Any collected USED ASSETS which cannot be recycled shall be disposed of by the Contractor at no additional cost to UNSMIL.
1.4 All liabilities for the services performed under this contract rest with the Contractor.

UNSMIL is not liable for any services performed by the Contractor, or its subcontractors or individual employees, which have not been requested or do not conform to specifications.
