NOTICE OF PUBLIC CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
1. The Government of the Republic of Senegal has applied for and obtained a credit from the International Development Association (IDA), the French Development Agency (AFD), the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and the European Investment Bank, to finance the cost of the Project for the Promotion of Integrated Management and the Economy of Solid Waste in Senegal (PROMOGED).
2. The Project for the Promotion of Integrated Management and the Economy of Solid Waste in Senegal (PROMOGED) will strengthen governance in the sector and improve the integrated and sustainable management system for municipal and assimilated solid waste. This investment program of USD 355.7 million (or EUR 322.5 million) is planned for a duration of 6 years starting from June 2020.
3. PROMOGED wishes to use part of the Project funds to "Select and Employ a consulting firm or group responsible for the development of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs) and Livelihood Restoration Plans (LRPs) for the Thiès landfill rehabilitation project and the construction projects for the CIVDs of Notto Diobass, Sandiara and the CTT of Malicounda".

The overall objective of the mission is to conduct environmental and social risk and impact management studies for the rehabilitation project of the Thiès landfill and the construction projects for the CIVDs of Notto Diobass, Sandiara and the CTT of Malicounda. These include:

- Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs)
- Livelihood Restoration Plans (LRPs)
