Description

This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by Strathcona County (the “County”) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Design-Build | Replacement of an Existing Rooftop Makeup Air Unit (MAU) – Sherwood Park Arena, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). The County is seeking quotations from qualified suppliers to provide design-build services for the replacement of Makeup Air Unit #1 (MAU-1) at Shell Arena, Sherwood Park Arena Sports Centre, located at 2015 Oak Street, Sherwood Park, Alberta. The Deliverables includes the demolition and disposal of the existing MAU-1 and the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and integration of a new rooftop desiccant dehumidification makeup air unit. The Deliverables also includes all associated structural, mechanical, electrical, natural gas, roofing, fire alarm, fire suppression sprinkler, permitting, commissioning, and closeout requirements necessary to deliver a complete and operational system. The selected respondent will enter into a Design-Build Stipulated Price Contract under CCDC 14 (2013), as amended by Supplementary Conditions (refer to Attachment 1). Respondents must demonstrate the qualifications, resources, and experience necessary to deliver the complete design-build scope while maintaining continuous operation of the facility and minimizing disruption to arena users and the public during construction.
