Original language: DutchDe Noordzeeterminal bevindt zich in het noorden van het havengebied op de rechter Scheldeoever. De terminal ligt ten westen van de Zandvliet- en de Berendrechtsluis en is omsloten door de Scheldelaan, Oudedijkweg en het natuurgebied Groot Buitenschoor. Eén van de bouwstenen van het complex project ECA (Extra Containerbehandelingscapaciteit Antwerpen) is de uitbreiding van deze Noordzeeterminal. Er werden reeds verschillende concepten onderzocht op haalbaarheidsniveau om de uitbreiding mogelijk te maken. Op basis van deze onderzoeken en gewijzigde randvoorwaarden, werd een nieuwe conceptschets gemaakt. De uitbreiding omvat een verlenging van de kaaimuur in oostelijke richting van circa 200 m om een extra aanlegplaats voor diepzeeschepen te creëren. Hiervoor zal de bestaande ondiepe kaaimuur langs de toegangsgeul van de Zandvlietsluis vervangen worden door een dieper kaaimuurtype. Op het aansluitende, te behouden deel van de bestaande kaaimuur worden twee ligplaatsen gecreëerd voor binnenvaartschepen. Deze opdracht omvat het civieltechnisch ontwerp, het opmaken van een project-MER, het opmaken van een dossier voor de omgevingsvergunningsaanvraag en bijstand bij zowel de aanbestedingsprocedure als de uitvoering van de werken. De opdrachtnemer dient voor de uitvoering van de opdracht nauw samen te werken met zowel de opdrachtgever als een aannemer in een bouwteamverband.
