Description

Original language: Spanish

This tender, originating from Chile and published on mercadopublico.cl, concerns the supply of materials for animal housing. The contracting authority is seeking providers who can deliver a range of items necessary for the proper accommodation and care of animals, likely within a municipal or institutional context (e.g., shelters, veterinary services, research facilities). The scope of this procurement could include items such as bedding materials (e.g., straw, wood shavings, specialized substrates), enclosure components (e.g., fencing, panels, cages), cleaning and disinfection supplies specific to animal environments, and potentially feeding or watering equipment. Bidders are expected to provide detailed product specifications, including material composition, dimensions, safety features (e.g., non-toxic materials), and suitability for different types of animals. Compliance with relevant animal welfare regulations and hygiene standards will be crucial. The tender will likely specify quantities, packaging, delivery locations, and schedules. Evaluation criteria will focus on the quality and appropriateness of the materials, adherence to specifications, competitive pricing, and the supplier's reliability in meeting delivery commitments. This ensures the provision of adequate and safe housing for animals under the care of the contracting authority.
