Description

The roof of Government House has been assessed as being beyond its serviceable life and requires wholesale replacement. Due to issues associated with poor capacity of gutters and rainwater goods to the central lead roof an early works package was executed on the 11/3/2025 for the separate replacement of the internal roof components. This RFT is intended to address the remainder and bulk of the slate roof and associated details. Execution of this package will require integration with sacrificial details at interfaces with the early works lead package, to allow for of an integrated roof design. The integrated design is part of a performance solution to hydraulic engineering design to account for inherent constraints presented by the historic context of design and construction.
