Description

SPSD on behalf of multiple school divisions is requesting quotations for the provision of Natural Gas. Respondents are invited to submit quotations for Natural Gas supply at either or both a fixed price or an index-based floating rate (e.g., AECO + premium) delivered via the TransGas Energy Pool (TEP).The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to:1. Select a supplier of Natural Gas for the School Divisions listed below.2. Specify the fixed price and/or floating fee for Natural Gas supply, identify all associated costs.3. Finalize the start and end dates, including any available option years.4. Specify the Terms and Conditions that would govern any resulting agreements.

Each School Division may choose its own individual initial contract term length with the awarded supplier and will enter into an individual contract. At the sole discretion of each School Division, the contract may include one or more option years to a maximum of 5 years, exercisable on an annual basis. Purchasing Services, Saskatoon Public Schools, 310 21st Street East, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1M7 For each option year, the supplier shall be required to provide pricing and applicable terms to the applicable School Division within a timeframe to be specified in the contract, for review and consideration prior to the expiration of the then-current contract term. Exercise of any option year shall be subject to the School Division’s acceptance of the proposed pricing and terms, and mutual written agreement of the parties. There shall be no automatic contract extensions. All Divisions have the right to revert back to Sask Energy’s fixed rate with 30 days’ notice. Quotations should identify the validity period. The award to the successful proponent will be made by 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST - Saskatoon time) on June 18, 2026.
