NORTHERN REGION WATER BOARD INVITATION FOR BIDS Issued on Friday, 11th September, 2026 1. The Northern Region Water Board has identified funding from its 2026/27 Annual Budget for the Procurement of Goods and Services 2. The Northern Region Water Board now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders and qualified bidders for procurement of assorted goods for the implementation of its 2026/2027 Procurement Plan as specified below: ITEM DESCRIPTION OF DELIVERY REFERENCE CLOSING TIME NO PROCUREMENT PERIOD NO 1 Tender for Supply As NRWB/45/26 Thursday,1st October, and delivery of indicated in 2026@ 14: 00 hrs local motorcycles the bidding time document 2 Provision of 12 months NRWB/07/26 Thursday,1st Insurance Services October,2026@ 15: 00 hrs local time 3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all bidders as defined in the Bidding Documents. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Northern Region Water Board, Kawiluwilu House, Bloemwater Street ,Private Bag 94, Mzuzu. Attention: Procurement unit Tel (265) 1 310 254 ,email ipdc@nrwb.org.mw 5. A complete set of Bidding Document in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK 30,000.00. The method of payment will be cash or direct transfer to the following account details : Account name : Northern Region Water Board Account number : 386561 Bank name : National Bank of Malawi Service Centre : Mzuzu The Bidding Documents will be collected from Northern Region Water Board- Procurement Unit by the interested bidders themselves. 6. Bids shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) days after bid opening and a Bid Securing Declaration Form (BSDF) shall be required. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. 7. Sealed bids, clearly marked with the relevant Procurement Reference Number, should be deposited in the NRWB tender box located near the Reception at Kawiluwilu House, Mzuzu, by the closing date and time indicated above.
