Transport en Verwerking van afval van dierziekten en niet-dierziekten gerelateerde Incidenten Opdrachtgever: Ministerie van Economische Zaken In het kader van de bestrijding van Dierziekten kan afval vrijkomen, zoals gebruikte persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (PBM’s) en overig afval (cateringafval, verpakkingsmateriaal, balen stro, afgedankte kruiwagens, voerschotels e.d.). Dit afval moet na de bestrijding worden afgevoerd en verwerkt. Daarnaast zijn er Incidenten op Niet-dierziekte vlak, zoals plantgezondheid, waar afval vrij kan komen welke getransporteerd en verwerkt moet worden, het gaat hierbij ook over infectieus afval, waardoor transport en verwerking op nagenoeg dezelfde wijze moet plaatsvinden. Het afval dat getransporteerd en verwerkt moet worden betreft afval met Euralcodes 18.02.02, 18.02.03, 18.01.03. of 18.01.04. Dit betekent dat het o.a. afval is waarvan de inzameling, het transport en de verwerking zijn onderworpen aan speciale richtlijnen teneinde infectie te voorkomen.
