Description

Officers handling wildlife whether tranquilized or seized must manage these situations in a timely, controlled, and secure manner. Timeliness is critical to the successful execution of operational duties, and the use of ramp systems significantly reduces the physical risks associated with manually lifting wildlife into patrol vehicles. This not only minimizes the potential for officer injury but also reduces stress and risk of harm to the animals.Wildlife removals in urban environments are often complex and highly visible to the public. The use of ramp systems enables officers to perform their duties in a safe, efficient, and professional manner, enhancing public confidence. Additionally, these systems help mitigate the risk of vehicle damage, thereby reducing potential maintenance and repair costs. The required ramp systems should be custom-fabricated, as they are not commercially available through standard vehicle outfitting suppliers. Similar ramp systems are already in active use, and all current vehicles are equipped with comparable configurations, demonstrating their operational necessity and effectiveness.
