UNDP-HND-00720: MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR PUMPING SYSTEMS AT UNAH

Agency: UNDP | Reference: UNDP-HND-00720 | Type: Request for quotation INTRODUCTION The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH), is promoting an initiative aimed at strengthening the quality of higher education through strategic investments in infrastructure, innovation, equipment, and institutional capacity development. As part of this transformation effort, the contracting of Preventive Maintenance Services, Corrective Maintenance, as well as the supply and installation of spare parts, for the pumping systems of the listed buildings. The service shall include qualified labor, tools, equipment, transportation, functional tests, software updates, and other activities necessary to ensure continuous operation, reliability, integration compatibility, and regulatory compliance. The maintenance service shall include at a minimum: • Comprehensive technical inspection of pumping systems and their components. • Execution of preventive maintenance in accordance with the activities established in these specifications. • Technical cleaning of equipment, cabinets, devices, and system components. • Verification of the operational status of pumps, motors, drives, sensors, instruments, PLCs, and control elements. • Verification of electrical parameters, protections, connections, and wiring. • Execution of adjustments, calibrations, and minor corrections required for the correct operation of the system. • Functional tests in manual and automatic modes to verify the correct operation of the equipment. • Review of events, alarms, and recorded failures, where applicable. • Supply and installation of spare parts included in this process. • Identification and reporting of components requiring additional repair or replacement, accompanied by the respective technical diagnosis. • Implementation of temporary measures to maintain or restore system operation, when technically feasible and safe. • In the case where cistern emptying is required, the contracting company will carry it out in coordination with the UNAH plumbing department and the person responsible for supervising the contract. • The contracting company will be responsible for all logistics required for the maintenance described in this request. • Preparation and submission of a technical report for each location serviced.
