Die Universitätsmedizin der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (nachfolgend "UM") betreibt eine Alcatel-Lucent-Enterprise (im Folgenden kurz "ALE") Telekommunikationsinfrastruktur bestehend aus drei Netzknoten mit redundanter Steuerung. Die Systeme sind seit vielen Jahren im Einsatz, wurden jedoch fortlaufend modernisiert und durch eine herstellerbezogene Software-Assurance (TK-Systeme und Applikationen) kontinuierlich auf dem aktuellen Stand der Technik gehalten. Die UM schreibt mit dieser Beschaffungsmaßnahme einen Servicevertrag inklusive Software-Assurance ab 01.09.2026 für eine Laufzeit von 60 Monaten (mit 12-monatiger Verlängerungsoption) aus. Da im Geschäftsbereich Technik des Auftraggebers geschulte Mitarbeiter zur Verfügung stehen, wird der 1st- und 2nd-Level-Support größtenteils eigenständig erbracht.
