D2. SCOPE OF WORKD2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:(a) Concrete and waterproofing repairs within the active Winnipeg Police Services facility.(b) Sequencing and phasing the work to accommodate continuous use and occupancy by the WinnipegPolice Service.(c) Development and implementation of dust and silica protection procedures for the protectionof contractor’s workers and prevent dust and silica migration to other occupied areas of thefacility.(d) Localized removal and replacement of a bonded concrete overlay to the Level 1 slab.(e) Localized horizontal top surface, through slab and soffit repairs to the concrete structuralslab.(f) Localized vertical concrete repairs.(g) Localized concrete repairs to concrete encased steel beams.(h) Localized trough strapping of concrete encased steel beams.(i) Localized crack repairs.(j) Localized recoating of traffic bearing membrane to the Level 1 slab.D2.2 The following shall apply to the Services:(a) City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy: New City-Owned Buildings and major additions;http://clkapps.winnipeg.ca/DMIS/DocExt/ViewDoc.asp?DocumentTypeId=2&DocId=5989(b) Universal Design Policyhttp://clkapps.winnipeg.ca/DMIS/DocExt/ViewDoc.asp?DocumentTypeId=2&DocId=3604D2.3 The funds available for this contract are $850,000.00.
