Aninver Development Partners is preparing a proposal for a prospective consultancy assignment funded by WIPO in Switzerland within the education sector. The global intellectual property ecosystem is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by artificial intelligence adoption, digital transformation, and evolving stakeholder expectations. In this context, building robust leadership capacity is a critical organizational asset for navigating complexity and driving institutional excellence.

To address these imperatives, we are seeking an expert Instructional Design Expert to join our team. The selected professional will play a vital role in designing integrated learning journeys, digital modules, and instructional materials aligned with WIPO standards, ensuring that senior leaders are equipped with the competencies, mindsets, and tools necessary to lead effectively in an increasingly complex and AI-enabled environment.

Aninver is preparing a proposal for this assignment. The selected expert will be part of the proposed team; the engagement is conditional on the contract being awarded to Aninver. The full Terms of Reference for the position are shared with shortlisted candidates.

Objectives of the assignment

• Design integrated learning journeys consisting of multiple-day executive leadership training sessions and workshops.
• Develop digital modules and instructional materials aligned with modern adult learning principles and organizational standards.
• Incorporate AI-enabled leadership tools and responsible AI literacy into the curriculum in accordance with institutional protocols.
• Ensure learning activities and tools are relevant, practical, and aligned with organizational priorities and competency frameworks.

Scope of work

• Conduct a needs analysis to identify specific leadership requirements for senior cohorts.
• Design an integrated learning journey including tailored assessments and individual coaching debriefings.
• Define modules, learning flows, sequencing, and engagement strategies for hybrid delivery formats.
• Integrate digital learning technologies and platforms to support continuous executive learning and coaching between sessions.
• Apply adult, experiential, and participatory learning approaches to enhance peer learning and interaction.
• Liaise regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, validation, and quality assurance of program design.

Your role as Instructional Design Expert

• Lead the instructional design of the executive leadership training program and associated digital learning modules.
• Collaborate with team members to structure learning flows, session sequencing, and interactive engagement strategies.
• Ensure all training materials and digital tools strictly adhere to adult learning principles and institutional instructional design standards.
• Integrate cutting-edge AI-enabled leadership content and responsible AI literacy into the curriculum design.
• Review feedback from internal training stakeholders to refine and validate the final instructional design model.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all program design and development activities for review and quality assurance purposes.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in instructional design for executive education or leadership training programs.
• Strong expertise in applying modern adult learning principles, experiential methodologies, and participatory learning approaches.
• Familiarity with digital learning technologies, platforms, and tools to support continuous blended learning.
• Ability to translate complex organizational competencies and AI-enabled leadership frameworks into practical learning materials.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and institutional stakeholders.

Desirable

• Prior experience working with international organizations, specialized agencies, or global intellectual property institutions.
• Demonstrated background in incorporating artificial intelligence literacy and governance principles into executive curricula.

An experienced Instructional Design Expert with a strong background in creating blended executive leadership curricula and digital learning modules for international organizations in Switzerland.
