Preparation and delivery of meals according to diets for inpatient hospital patients by clinics and departments of UMBAL "Sveta Anna" - Sofia AD

The subject of the public procurement is the daily preparation and delivery of meals according to diets for inpatient patients by clinics and departments of UMBAL "Sveta Anna" - Sofia AD. The term for the execution of the order is 12 (twelve) months from its award. Participants submit only one offer for the comprehensive execution of the order, and variants are not allowed. All activities related to the preparation and delivery of food must comply with the parameters and requirements of the Contracting Authority, as set out in the tender documentation. The food must be delivered ready for consumption, packed in individual disposable packaging. In order to avoid the risk of food contamination and to preserve its taste qualities, transportation should be carried out in thermal containers. The procedure is related to the daily need of the medical facility for the preparation and delivery of food for inpatient patients according to a recipe book for dietary nutrition. The approximate quantity of food to be prepared daily and delivered in individual disposable packaging is for 331 patients. The number of patients is indicative and depends on the activity of the medical facility. Attached to the tender documentation is a Weekly Diet Menu for Inpatient Patients, according to the "Collection of recipes for dietary dishes for public catering establishments and therapeutic and preventive institutions" of the Ministry of Health. There are two weekly menus - Winter (applicable from 01.11 to 30.04) and Summer (applicable from 01.05 to 31.10). The food should be delivered in individual disposable packaging that meets the requirements of Ordinance No. 2/23.01.2008 on materials and articles made of plastic intended for contact with food. The packaging must be adapted to the weight of the portions, the consistency of the food, and the temperature regime. Payment is made in Bulgarian Leva, by bank transfer, to a bank account specified by the Contractor, deferred, within 60 (sixty) calendar days after the submission of an invoice and a summary report of the delivered food by number and type of dishes for the reporting month. Each participant must comply with mandatory environmental requirements when executing the order, in accordance with Art. 47a of the Public Procurement Act. The minimum mandatory environmental requirements and the method of their proof are defined in Annex No. 1 to Ordinance No. N-1 of July 23, 2024, on environmental requirements for certain products that are the subject of public procurement. All minimum environmental requirements that participants must meet are described in detail in the tender documentation.
