Храната за пациентите се приготвя съгласно „Сборник рецепти за диетични ястия за заведенията за обществено хранене и лечебно – профилактичните заведения, издателство „Техника“ от 1984 г. за съответния номер на ястие, посочено в техническата спецификация.
