MALAWI GOVERNMENT QUEEN ELIZABETH CENTRAL HOSPITAL INVITATION TO BID PROVISION OF MAINTENANCE OF COOLING SYSTEMS, KITCHEN POTS/COOKER AND CUSTOM CLEARING AND FREIGHT SERVICES. Issue Date: Saturday 8th August, 2026 1. Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital has allocated funds in its 2026/2027 Financial year budget and intends to use part of the proceeds of these funds for payment of provision of maintenance of cooling systems, kitchen pots/cooker and custom clearing and freight services for the period of up to 31st March 2028. NO. TENDER DESCRIPTION TENDER REFERENCE NUMBER TYPE OF CONTRACT 1 Provision of maintenance of NCB/031/IPDC/QECH/S/2026-2027/01 Framework cooling systems, kitchen agreement pots/cooker 2 Provision of custom clearing NCB/031/IPDC/QECH/S/2026-2027/03 Framework and freight services agreement 2. The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal of Assets Committee, Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the provision of the above services. 3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures for Non- Consultancy Services specified in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Law, Regulations of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and is open to all eligible bidders. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement and Disposal of Asset Unit and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 08.00 to 12-00 and 13.00 to 16.00 hours local time (Monday to Friday, except national public holidays and weekends). 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders from the address shown at 7(b) below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK10, 000.00. The method of payment shall be Cash. 6. Bids must be registered and delivered to the address shown at 7(b) below on or before 28 August, 2026, 10:00hours local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at paragraph 7(c) on Friday 28 August, 2026, at 10:00hours local time. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 (One hundred Twenty) days after bid opening. 7.
