Mchinji District Council with funding from government of Malawi under the Reformed Constituency Development Fund (RCDF), has planned to carry out various construction works projects for 2026/27 financial year. 2. Therefore, Mchinji District Council now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified Bidders to carry out various construction works as follows: LOT PROCUREMENT REF. SUBJECT OF CIRA NO. NO. PROCUREMENT CATEGORY 1 MCDC-IPDC-HQTRS- Construction of a 100 Million CDF-MCW-2627-01-5501 classroom block at Mayera Primary School in Mchinji West 2 MCDC-IPDC-HQTRS- Establishment of a Water 200 Million CDF-MCSW-2627-102- Reticulated System At 5501 Pinda/Bua In Mchinji South West Constituency. 3 MCDC-IPDC-HQTRS- Rehabilitation of 200 Million CDF-MCCE-2627-12-5501 Chinkhota – Chioko Road, in Mchinji Central East Constituency 4 MCDC-IPDC-HQTRS- Rehabilitation of 7 KM 200 Million CDF-MCE-2627-16-5501 Mchitanji to Mponda road in Mchinji East Constituency 5 MCDC-IPDC-HQTRS- Rehabilitation of 2km 200 Million CDF-MCN-2627-02-5501 Mkanda to Mawale road in Mchinji North Constituency 3. Bidding will be conducted through Request for Quotation (RFQ) procedures as contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act 2025. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the address below, attention the Internal Procurement and disposal of assets committee at the address 7(1) given below from 8:00am to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 pm to 4:30pm in the afternoon. (Monday to Friday, except public holidays). 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders and obtained from the address indicated at 7 (1) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty thousand Malawi kwacha (MK20,000.00) or its equivalent in freely convertible currency at the Accounts Department. The method of payment is through bank account number 3044262, National Bank. Account name Mchinji District Council. 6. Completed bid documents should be submitted in one hard copy, Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box located at Mchinji District Council Office Building in the Procurement Unit Office on 10th November 2026 or before, at 10:00 hours (10:00am). Bids will be publicly opened on 10th November 2026 at 10:30 hours local time at Mchinji District Council Chamber, Mchinji, Malawi. 7.
