18-Jun-2026 The Abia State Government has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) towards the cost of the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project (ABSIIDP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for Consultancy Services for the Preparation of a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and a Transport Master Plan (TrMP) for Abia State. Abia State, located in the South-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria, has an estimated resident population of over 3.2 million, with an additional daily influx of approximately 300,000 people for commerce.
