Description
HBC is seeking to secure the expertise of a suitably qualified service provider to support rough sleepers to move off the streets as quickly as possible into appropriate accommodation. It will require a flexible approach to support people who are rough sleeping with the ability to target the most marginalised people.
The provision of an Assertive Outreach Service is to help and support those who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping. The Service will work to relieve rough sleeping, providing relevant advice, support and guidance, improving pathways and access to suitable accommodation including emergency accommodation. The Service will include assertive outreach, drop-in/in-reach and the provision of an emergency crash pad
The provider will assist the local authority to meet the objectives of the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy as well as the wider Government Strategy to Ending Rough Sleeping for Good and any subsequent strategies.
