Der Geltungsbereich A des Bebauungsplanes „Glogaustraße-Süd“, ME 69, be- findet sich im Stadtteil Melverode und umfasst Flächen der Bezirkssportanlage Melverode, die nach einer Neu- und Umstrukturierung der Sportanlage entbehrlich sind und für eine verän- derte Nachnutzung zur Verfügung stehen. Die Erschließung erfolgt über die Glogaustraße. Der Geltungsbereich A des zukünftigen Bebauungsplanes „Glogaustraße-Süd“, ME 69, hat eine Größe von ca. 3,5 ha, welche sich im Eigentum der Stadt Braunschweig befindet. Im nördlichen Teil des Plangebietes (WA 1) sollen ca. 100 Wohneinheiten im Geschosswoh- nungsbau entstehen, während im südlichen Teil eine klassische verdichtete Reihenhausbe- bauung (WA 2 und WA 3) mit ca. 53 Wohneinheiten vorgesehen ist. Im WA 3 können auch alternative Wohnformen realisiert werden, z. B. Gebäude mit einer wohnflächenreduzierten Bauweise.
