Description

Grande Spirit Foundation is inviting qualified contractors to submit bids for GSF-2026-006-A – Wild Rose Manor & Villas HVAC System Upgrade in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The project includes the replacement and upgrade of existing HVAC equipment at Wild Rose Manor and Wild Rose Villas, including the installation of four new natural-gas-powered heat pump units, associated refrigerant and natural gas piping, replacement of make-up air and air-handling equipment, DX cooling coils, controls, electrical work, and associated mechanical modifications. The work includes upgrades at both Wild Rose Manor, 9358-70 Avenue, Grande Prairie, and Wild Rose Villas, 7015 Poplar Drive, Grande Prairie. Bidders are required to provide separate pricing for each building as outlined in the Bid Contract Package. A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held on November 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Wild Rose Manor. Bid Closing: November 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM. The anticipated project completion date is August 30, 2027. Refer to the attached Bid Contract Package and Issued-for-Tender Mechanical Drawings M1–M11 for the complete scope of work, submission requirements, bonding requirements, specifications, and contract conditions. Bid submissions are to be emailed to jbristol@grandespirit.org Additional Requirements: Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid site visit on November 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM is required. Bids must include a 10% Bid Bond, WCB Clearance Letter, and Corporate Certificate or Business Licence. The successful contractor will be required to provide a 50% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond within 15 days of contract award. A detailed construction schedule is to be submitted within two weeks of contract award. Refer to the Bid Contract Package for all insurance, safety, submission, and contract requirements.
