Management expert services and consulting for the implementation of the Interreg Europe project European Mining Regions Innovation Ecosystems supporting the Circularity and Resource Efficiency (EMRIE) in 2025.

Kainuu Region acts as a partner in the EMRIE project (European Mining Regions Innovation Ecosystem supporting the Circularity and Resource Efficiency) funded by the Interreg Europe program. The project focuses on developing practices related to the sustainable mining sector, circular economy, and resource efficiency among European partner regions. In accordance with the approved project plan, Kainuu Region is tendering for expert services to support the project management, coordination, and implementation of the EMRIE project. The expert services will particularly support project management, stakeholder cooperation, and content preparation during the project's start-up phase. Expert Service Offered This tender requests offers for expert services that support the achievement of the EMRIE project's goals and increase its impact. The expert service will support Kainuu Region in managing and implementing the project. The expert's competence can be utilized to support project workshops, coordination, reporting, monitoring, and stakeholder cooperation. The service can start at the earliest in December 2025, and the service will end no later than December 31, 2026, unless otherwise agreed. The schedule will be specified together with the selected service provider. The total price of the project may not exceed EUR 9,000 (VAT 0%). The service includes travel within Finland. Travel expenses, as well as all other reimbursements, must be included in the total price of the procurement. The expert is required to have in particular: - Strong expertise in the mining sector, at least 5 years - Extensive networks among mining sector stakeholders and actors - Experience in Interreg or similar EU-funded projects, especially multinational cooperation projects - Good understanding of the impact of the CRMA regulation and other EU policy instruments on regional decision-making and strategic planning - The tenderer must have good oral and written skills in Finnish and English. The offer must include the following sections: - Description of the qualifications and experience of the expert or expert group, especially in the fields of sustainable mining, circular economy, EU policy instruments, and Interreg and similar EU projects.
