Description
The Government of Mongolia, through the Ministry of
Education (“MoE”), is developing a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) pilot
project to address a significant deficit in school infrastructure across
Mongolia, with an initial focus on Ulaanbaatar City. IFC is expected to provide
transaction advisory support to MoE in structuring and tendering a concession
for the development of climate-resilient, and digitally equipped classrooms
across number of public schools from a pool of identified brownfield and
greenfield sites in Ulaanbaatar (the “Project”).
IFC is seeking to engage a qualified Technical
Consultant (firm or consortium) to provide technical due diligence, design, and
procurement support to the transaction, ensuring the project is structured to
deliver efficient, climate-resilient, and fiscally sustainable school
infrastructure through the private sector.
