Aninver Development Partners is preparing a proposal for an upcoming industrial development initiative in Morocco supported by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). The overarching goal is to promote resource efficiency and cleaner production within the country's manufacturing sector, enhancing industrial competitiveness while reducing environmental footprints.

We are currently seeking an expert in industrial processes and production optimization to join our team for this assignment. The selected professional will provide direct technical assistance to participating manufacturing enterprises, driving the transition toward circular economy practices and sustainable industrial operations.

Aninver is preparing a proposal for this assignment. The selected expert will be part of the proposed team; the engagement is conditional on the contract being awarded to Aninver. The full Terms of Reference for the position are shared with shortlisted candidates.

Objectives of the assignment

• Mobilize and engage a group of pilot industrial enterprises within targeted manufacturing zones.
• Prepare and co-animate thematic collective training workshops focused on resource efficiency and cleaner production.
• Conduct on-site coaching visits to evaluate and improve environmental and operational performance.
• Develop individual action plans with robust technico-economic and financial assessments for participating companies.
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer and contribute to comprehensive reporting for industrial park management.

Scope of work

• Finalize the methodological framework, monitoring tools, and initial coordination with project stakeholders.
• Raise awareness and engage pilot enterprises to participate actively in cleaner production club activities.
• Design and co-facilitate workshops centered on resource efficiency, raw materials, and waste management.
• Execute individualized on-site technical coaching visits to identify optimization potential within production lines.
• Analyze the technical and financial feasibility of identified efficiency measures.
• Draft detailed corporate action plans and ensure knowledge transfer to local management stakeholders.

Your role as Expert(e) en procédés industriels et optimisation de la production

• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify bottlenecks contributing to high raw material consumption, losses, and waste.
• Provide technical assistance and advisory support directly to industrial enterprises for production optimization.
• Identify and quantify specific opportunities for reducing raw material inputs and minimizing waste generation.
• Co-animate collective training modules on cleaner production practices and industrial process efficiency.
• Perform on-site coaching visits to guide plant engineers and operators in implementing corrective measures.
• Contribute to the drafting of technico-economic evaluations and individual corporate action plans.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive delivery of project outputs.

Requirements

• Education: Diplôme d’ingénieur ou diplôme universitaire de niveau master ou équivalent en génie industriel, génie des procédés, génie chimique, génie mécanique ou discipline connexe
• Au moins 5 années d’expérience professionnelle dans l’assistance technique aux entreprises industrielles en matière d’analyse et d’optimisation des procédés de production
• Au moins 3 années d’expérience dans l’identification et la quantification d’opportunités de réduction des consommations de matières premières, pertes et déchets
• Languages: Maîtrise du français et de l'arabe; connaissance de l'anglais souhaitée

Desirable

• Prior experience working with international organizations or on UNIDO-funded projects.
• Familiarity with circular economy principles in the Moroccan industrial sector.

An experienced industrial process engineer with a strong background in production optimization, waste reduction, and technical assistance to manufacturing firms in Morocco.
