Aninver Development Partners SL is currently preparing a proposal for an upcoming consultancy assignment in Spain focused on the strategic optimization, usage planning, and feasibility analysis of a major municipal cultural and entertainment venue. The objective of the project is to evaluate potential refurbishment options and develop a sustainable operational model that can support a future public-private partnership concession scheme.

To strengthen our multidisciplinary team for this assignment, we are seeking a qualified Specialist in planning, management, and feasibility analysis of cultural and musical facilities. The successful expert will play a pivotal role in assessing market demand, defining viable commercial and cultural activities, and ensuring the long-term operational sustainability of the public asset.

Aninver is preparing a proposal for this assignment. The selected expert will be part of the proposed team; the engagement is conditional on the contract being awarded to Aninver. The full Terms of Reference for the position are shared with shortlisted candidates.

Objectives of the assignment

• Develop a comprehensive usage proposal and detailed feasibility study for the municipal facility.
• Analyze and define viable commercial, cultural, and community uses to guarantee long-term operational and financial sustainability.
• Assess the local and regional demand for events, entertainment, and cultural activities.
• Establish market-aligned operational models and a prioritized matrix of potential uses for the venue.

Scope of work

• Assess local and regional demand for events, entertainment, cultural, and commercial activities.
• Identify viable operational models and define a prioritized matrix of potential uses for the municipal facility.
• Analyze the physical structure, spatial layout, and urban integration of the facility in coordination with technical teams.
• Evaluate refurbishment and expansion possibilities in line with local urban regulations and technical constraints.
• Measure the projected economic, social, and employment impacts of the refurbished facility on the local urban ecosystem.
• Support the development of a comprehensive financial feasibility model covering capital and operational expenditures from a private concessionaire perspective.

Your role as Specialist in planning, management and feasibility analysis of cultural and musical facilities

• Lead the assessment of the events and entertainment market relevant to the cultural and musical facility.
• Contribute specialist expertise to the formulation of the usage proposal and operational strategy.
• Analyze cultural market trends and demand dynamics to shape the commercial positioning of the venue.
• Collaborate closely with municipal stakeholders and multidisciplinary team members to align cultural programming with urban and financial constraints.
• Provide technical inputs on the management, programming, and operational requirements of cultural and musical infrastructure.
• Assist in drafting reports and deliverables concerning the facility's activity planning and management feasibility.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the events and entertainment market
• Minimum 3 years in projects similar to the object of this contract

Desirable

• Previous professional experience in Spain within the cultural and entertainment sector.
• Experience collaborating on public-sector advisory assignments or public-private partnership projects.

An experienced cultural management professional with a deep understanding of the events and entertainment market, bringing at least 3 years of specialized experience in planning and assessing the feasibility of cultural and musical facilities in Spain.
