Market dialogue Finnish Development NGOs Fingo Ry, Development Cooperation East Africa The contracting authority is seeking a service provider to act as the host organization for one (1) full-time East Africa Partnership Manager working in Nairobi (Kenya). In the procurement, the Service Provider will act as the legal employer of the Partnership Manager and will be responsible for the framework related to employment, office services, administrative support, and the employer's duty of care within which the role is performed. Fingo, in turn, will be responsible for guiding the content and focus of the work. The contract is valid from the date of signing until December 31, 2029. The Service Provider must recruit the Partnership Manager within twelve (12) weeks of signing the contract. After this, the Partnership Manager's employment will be valid from the appointment date until December 31, 2029. The contract period and employment duration are thus of different lengths, and tenderers must take this into account in their pricing. Key content of the procurement: oRecruitment of the Partnership Manager, including publishing the job advertisement, pre-selecting applicants, and checking references. The Service Provider is responsible for recruitment, either themselves or with the help of an external recruitment agency at the Service Provider's expense. Fingo will participate in the selection panel and make the final selection decision; oManagement of the employment relationship in accordance with Kenyan legislation, including salary payments, handling statutory obligations, HR support, and local line management; oReliable access to a professional workspace in Nairobi, including a quiet space suitable for confidential meetings, secure storage, the possibility to receive visitors, and a business address in Nairobi; oIT equipment and telecommunication connections; oServices related to the employer's duty of care, including security support, insurance, and incident management; oManagement of travel expenses and travel-related financial administration, and upon separate order, management of costs for events funded by the operational budget; and oFinancial administration, reporting, and annual audit of funds paid under the contract.
