The Republic of Malawi MINISTRY OF HEALTH (GLOBAL FUND/GAVI - PIU) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INVITATION TO TENDER NOTICE ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING PROCUREMENT OF INDELIBLE INK MARKERS FOR IMMUNIZATION CAMPAIGN REF. NO. MOH/NCB/G/GF/GAVI/2026/002 1. The Government of Malawi, through the Ministry of Health, is implementing the 2026 Measles-Rubella (MR) Vaccination Campaign with support from GAVI under the MR Switch Programme. The campaign forms part of the country's routine immunisation programme and is aimed at increasing population immunity against measles and rubella through nationwide vaccination activities. 2. As such, the Ministry of Health through MOH-PIU has allocated funds for the procurement of 60,000 indelible ink markers for this campaign. 3. The Ministry now invites eligible bidders to participate in the tender as presented below; Item Description of Services and Related Goods Number Quantity Indelible Ink Markers for immunisation: 1 60,000 marker pen permanent, 18% Silver Nitrate, 3 mls capacity. Note: A Sample is required and should be properly labelled 4. Bids will be evaluated using the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Malawi Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets (PPDA) Act 2025 and its associated Regulations of the Republic of Malawi. 5. A complete set of the Bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders at a non-refundable fee of MK10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Kwacha only). The fee should be deposited into the MINISTRY OF HEALTH – GAVI Account Number 17845012 maintained at NBS Bank City Centre Branch, cash will not be accepted. The bidding documents can be reviewed and collected at the address below from Friday 7th August 2026 between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Ministry of Health (Global Fund- GAVI – PIU) at CHSU – Finance Office, EPI Building, Mtunthama Road, Area 3, P.O. Box 30377, Lilongwe, Malawi. 6. Bids must be physically delivered by depositing the package in the tender box located at the entrance of the EPI Building no later than 26th August 2026, 14:00 hours local time. Electronic submission will not be accepted. Late submissions will be rejected.
