ELEC TR IC ITY SUPP LY CO RPO RA TIO N OF MA LA W I LIM ITED INV ITA TIO N FO R BID S (IFB ) FOR SUPP LY AN D DELIV ERY OF VA R IO U S OPTIC FIB RE PA R TS AN D MA TER IA LS BY INTERNATIO NAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING PRO CUREM ENT NO: ESC23/ICB/G/FY2026-27 DATE OF ISSUE: 17th OCTOBER 2026 1. The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi Limited (ESCO M ), a state -owned com pany, has budgeted fund s for the supply and delivery of various optic fibre parts and materials. 2. The Corporation now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the follow ing: Delivery Com pletion Description Delivery Point Period (Days) Supply and Delivery of Various Optic Fibre Parts and Materials ESCO M Central Stores (Ex- ADSS cables, pole hardware and fittings, patch panels, SFP 60 Days Bata), Makata, Blantyre modules, patch cords, splice protection sleeves and dom e junction boxes – 31 items, single lot 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with International Com petitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Malawi Public Procurem ent and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2025. 1. The goods are procured as a single lot. Bidders must quote for all thirty-one (31) item s and for the full quantity of each item ; a bidder who fails to quote for any item will be disqualified. 2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further inform ation and inspect the Bidding Docum ents from ESC O M ’s Procurem ent Division at the address in paragraph 9(a) below, from 08:00 to 12:00 hrs and 13:00 to 16:00 hrs local time (Monday to Friday), except national public holidays. 3. A com plete set of Bidding Docum ents in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at the address in paragraph 9(b) below upon paym ent of a non-refundable fee of MK20,000.00 or its equiva lent in a freely convertible currency. The method of paym ent will be cash or bank certified cheque. The docum ent may be collected by the bidder. 4. Bids must be delivered to the Tender Box at the address in paragraph 9(c) below on or before Friday, 20th Novem ber 2026 at 10:00 hours local time. Electronic bidding will not be perm itted and late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address in paragraph 9(d) below on Friday, 20th Novem ber 2026 at 10:30 hours local time. 5. Bids must be accom panied by a Bid Security of USD500,000.00 as specified in the Bidding Docum ents, or a Bid Securing Declaration if the bidder is 100% owned by Malaw ian nationals. The Bid Security must be in the form of a Bank Certified Cheque or Bank Guarantee issued by a reputable bank agreeable to the Purchase r. 6.
