Aninver Development Partners is preparing a proposal for a consulting initiative in Spain to support organizational development, strategic planning, and digital transformation for a prominent public-sector entity. As part of this comprehensive assignment, we are seeking an expert for the Category 5 - Perfil 2: Especialista en modelización y mapeo de procesos (BPMN) position to drive process optimization.

The selected expert will play a pivotal role in mapping, documenting, and validating operational workflows to eliminate inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires deep technical proficiency in process modeling and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality consulting services within the framework of organizational modernization in Spain.

Aninver is preparing a proposal for this assignment. The selected expert will be part of the proposed team; the engagement is conditional on the contract being awarded to Aninver. The full Terms of Reference for the position are shared with shortlisted candidates.

Objectives of the assignment

• Support the identification, elicitation, and mapping of organizational processes using standardized methodologies.
• Develop comprehensive process architectures, value chains, and detailed BPMN diagrams.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to document process owners, performance indicators, service levels, and associated instructions.
• Validate modeled workflows and ensure alignment with organizational goals and continuous improvement standards.

Scope of work

• Execution of consultancy services focused on the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of process management (BPM).
• Conducting process discovery sessions and workshops with operational teams across various departments.
• Developing process maps, value chain analyses, and rigorous BPMN-compliant workflow diagrams.
• Defining process ownership, key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and operational instructions.
• Analyzing existing workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for efficiency gains.
• Redesigning processes and defining functional requirements for downstream automation and digital transformation.

Your role as Category 5 - Perfil 2: Especialista en modelización y mapeo de procesos (BPMN)

• Lead the lifting, diagramming, documentation, and validation of organizational processes.
• Produce clear and standardized BPMN process models reflecting current-state operations and future-state designs.
• Engage with business units to extract operational knowledge and translate it into formal process specifications.
• Define and document process ownership, roles, responsibilities, and associated operational instructions.
• Formulate metrics and performance indicators to evaluate process efficiency and service levels.
• Contribute to the identification of process bottlenecks and recommend actionable improvements.
• Support the integration of redesigned processes into broader organizational management frameworks.

Requirements

• Education: Titulación universitaria de grado o formación técnica equivalente
• Al menos 5 años de experiencia en levantamiento, diagramación, documentación y validación de procesos
• Languages: Español

Desirable

• Prior experience in public sector consulting or organizational development projects in Spain.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience in defining functional requirements for process automation.

An experienced process modeling specialist with a strong background in BPMN diagramming, workflow documentation, and stakeholder collaboration, fully fluent in Spanish.
